If you like Delicious, you might want to explore Diigo.com I have switched to Diigo and now learned how to import my old Delicious bookmarks to Diigo BECAUSE Diigo has some social features that Delicious lacks. Like groups to share links, and the ability to have a discussion with others who bookmark a page and keep the discussion associated with the bookmark.

Yes, Delicious is brilliant (and yummy also)! Did you do a search on Civil War in Delicious? I did and came up with 12024 results! Wow!!!!

I’m not sure if you have seen this resource or not but Animoto is a fantastic site that allows students to upload photos and add music to create a very professional and easy video. It is free and you can request an educator account that allows unlimited photo uploads. You can even download the finished video or upload directly to YouTube.

I just learned something about Wikipedia that I didn’t know. If you click on one of their images, you can read the usage rights. Look there for Creative Commons! How about that?!

I think that is the best part about web2.0! You just can’t become stale because everyday there is something new, a different image, or way of expression.
I think our students see the web AS their blank slate. They finally have a voice, a canvas to express themselves!! Wahooooo I love it!

Great blog! I really got a log about blogging allowing for my in-depth discussions that we don’t always have time for in the classroom. It also helps engage the shy students in the discussion.
